  1.                  Clarkson packet driver for PARnet-PC

  6. The PARnet-PC packet driver is currently only available by me (the writer).
  7. It will be in one package together with the interface description and
  8. several interface testing routines. The current status of PARnet-PC is:
  9. BUGware. So don't expect too much from it, I think it's only interesting
  10. for those who want to develop it to a higher 'status'.

  13. Mail:

  15. This is the slowest way and most difficult way to get it. I can send
  16. disks, but I must be sure to get the disks back (using checks, or other
  17. ways to send money will be too expensive for you). So I won't do it this
  18. way.

  23. It is possible to send me a request by E-mail. I will send the lastest
  24. version back in UUencoded format (It will cost you nothing). But I'm not
  25. reading my mail every day, and my account won't be present forever.

  30. If you can give me an address of an FTP-site which has a world-writable
  31. directory, I can upload it there. I'm not going to put it on any
  32. FTP-archive (like Aminet), since the package is BUGware.

  37. When you know what FSP is, you can FSP to 131.155.2.49 port 6669 to get
  38. the package. My server is running on a VAX/VMS machine and it could be
  39. possible that it crashes. Use E-mail when you can't get any connection.

  46. The Clarkson collection of packet drivers is available by FTP, by
  47. archive-server, and by modem.  They come in two flavors -- executables
  48. only (drivers.zip), and source+executables (driverss.zip).  All of the
  49. following instructions apply to both drivers.zip and driverss.zip.

  51. Mail:

  53. I distribute the packet drivers on two 360K 5.25" disks, or a 720K
  54. 3.5" disk.  I charge a fee for the service of copying and mailing
  55. these disks. You can send me a check for $20, or you can send me a
  56. purchse order and I will bill you for $22.  NY residents add 7% sales
  57. tax, overseas orders add $3 for shipping.  If you send a check,
  58. please be sure it is in US dollars -- the bank charges me $15 to
  59. convert checks drawn in foreign currencies.

  81. 1200/2400 Baud, 24 hours.  You may need to press break, or simulate
